| Abstract: |
Without neglecting the significance of economic parameters, the author proposes the use of some anthropobiological indicators in obtaining a better idea as to whether an evenly distributed economic progress brought about by the national development programs has really come into effect in the society. Based on the facts reported by different authors, however, there seems to be no positive indication that "economic progess" has been equally followed by significant changes in anthropobiological indicators.
